I do not have time to establish chapters at the moment, and this video is VERY long and rambly, but I will get around to it eventually. For now, I have outlined some of the items we discussed below:

-Things you should NOT do while doing the "UCS Learning" exercises in the help files
-What the "For Each" line is and how you should use it
-Brief mention of the "9 basic parameters" and why they're important to understand before starting to write UCS
-How to reference built-in functions by utilizing the System Parameters topic of the help file
-How to build a safe "test" environment so you do not accidentally rename every single part in a job "Beech" like I once did

In this video I share some of my most commonly used Combit functions along with brief explanations of why I use them or why you might care to.

Thanks to one of the attendees asking questions during the stream we ended up working through a somewhat interesting and fun exercise extracting information about a material's thickness (0750) from a string, converting it to a fraction with 1/16" precision, and replacing the original abbreviated material name with one a little easier to understand if you aren't in our industry.

This video picks up where we left off last time, focusing on how to manage the different aspects of a drawing set and staying organized throughout the process from within Cabinet Vision.

Additionally, we will respond to a question from the last video about different dimension styles and how they can be setup to produce consistently sized fonts between scenes presented at different scales. Specifically I show how to setup two scenes, one at 1-1/2"=1'-0" and one at 1"=1'-0" scale to have identically sized fonts, a feature Cabinet Vision does not handle very well.

Most of what I share in this video comes from personal experience working with an AWI QCP certified Architectural Millwork shop, producing drawings for large scale millwork and casework projects several years back.

Last but not least, I'd like to thank not only the entire community, but also specifically Nathan Beaudry from Beaudry's Custom Woodworking out of Newberg, Oregon.
