What do we do now?

We just bought Cabinet Vision. What do we do now?

Remember that Robert Redford flick from 1972, "The Cabinet Engineer" or something like that?  Great movie!

It's been a few years but as I remember, that's the one where this guy - Redford - played a guy who was just setting up a new cabinet shop and he was getting ready to open the shop....big ribbon cutting ceremony and all that.

Anyway, so Redford is just getting ready to do this ribbon cutting thing or he was getting ready to install QuickBooks or something like that.  And his new shop foreman is with him in this one scene. And so Redford corners his foreman out in the shop near the panel stock racks and Redford says to his new foreman, Marvin, that now famous line...

OK, Marvin.  We just bought Cabinet Vision.  Now what do we do?

Man, I remember that line just like it was yesterday.

So, just some background here in case you don't remember the movie...  As I recall, these guys who were getting ready to open this brand new cabinet shop, bought a brand new edgebander and a new Biesse CNC machine and a bunch of other stuff...dust collection and all that.  And they bought Cabinet Vision....I think it was the latest version....probably Cabinet Vision 2023 or something back in those days.

At any rate, here they were with all this new stuff....a new shop, new equipment and Cabinet Vision, of course...and, and....sorry I'm laughing so much as I recall that scene....they had no idea how to use Cabinet Vision.  They had no training!

Oh, gosh.....too funny!

But seriously now...  "Now what do we do?"   Sorry, it's stuck in my head now.

If The Cabinet Engineer sounds just a little too familiar to you, give Craftsman Engineering a holler.  We have some great answers to that question.
